confusing layout dated decor
The room layout was indeed a maze. It was quite easy to get disoriented when trying to find my way back to the room, involving multiple elevators. The decor seemed rather dated. I also thought the heater was underperforming given how chilly it was. The room was also dark. The lighting could have been better.

lake views smart reception competent staff
The room I booked had AMAZING views of the lake and mountains. The reception area looked quite smart and excellent. Ben in the restaurant was VERY competent, helpful and friendly!!! THANKS for your hospitality.
The soft furnishings within the room had a slightly fusty smell.

room service easy walk standard spread complex route
the room service staff was lovely. the location provides an easy walk into town, i found it quite convenient. the staff cared and was great help. i felt it was a good experience.
the breakfast was not worth the cost i paid. it provided a very standard spread. there was a complex route to find my room. it required a five minute walk.
